Kickoff times and TV details have now been set for four of South Carolina's games in the 2011 season.
The Gamecocks will kick off the season at 7 p.m. Sept. 3 against East Carolina, it was announced Wednesday. The game will be played at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., and be televised by Fox Sports Net.
Play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun, analyst Tim Couch and sideline reporter Kristina Akra will call the USC-ECU game. The 2011 contest will mark the 16th meeting on the gridiron between the two schools. South Carolina holds a 10-5 advantage in the all-time series, which dates back to 1977. The most recent meeting came in 1999. The teams are slated to meet again in 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
South Carolina's Nov. 19 home game vs. The Citadel will kick off at noon and be available on pay-per-view, it was also announced Wednesday.
The Gamecocks lead the all-time series with the Citadel, 39-7-3. The series dates back to 1905, but the teams have not met since 1990.
USC faces Georgia at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 10 on ESPN in the teams' conference opener. The Sept. 17 home game vs. Navy will be at 6 p.m. on ESPN2.
