Defensive lineman Melvin Ingram and offensive lineman Rokevious Watkins were named All-SEC first-teamers Monday by The Associated Press.
Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, running back Marcus Lattimore and defensive back Antonio Allen were named to the AP second team. Lattimore's name was left off AP's initial release of the list.
LSU and Alabama (11-1) dominated the selections, with both powerhouses placing five players on the first team. Georgia had four first-teamers.
Ingram on Monday also was named to the 2011 American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-America team.
This marks the third straight year that a Gamecock has earned first-team All-America honors. Eric Norwood was a first-team pick by the Associated Press and Walter Camp in 2009, while Alshon Jeffery earned first-team All-America accolades in 2010 by AFCA, FWAA, ESPN.com and Phil Steele.
