Ingram, Clowney among SEC honorees

South Carolina placed four players on on the 2011 All-Southeastern Conference Coaches' Football Team.

Defensive lineman Melvin Ingram was selected to the All-SEC first team. Marcus Lattimore, Jadeveon Clowney and Rokevious Watkins made the second team.

Clowney and Brad Wing (LSU) were the only freshmen to make the squad.

Alabama had 11 total members, while LSU had 10. Arkansas had eight total members on the annual list. Eastern Divsion Champion Georgia had seven members, while Auburn had six. Vanderbilt and South Carolina had four each. Alabama led with five selections on the second team, while LSU had four. Coaches are not permitted to vote for their own players. Arkansas’ Joe Adams made the first team twice - once as a return specialist and once at the all-purpose position. Marquis Maze of Alabama was also recognized at two positions on the second team. The SEC individual award winners will be released on Wednesday and the SEC All-Freshman Team will be announced on Thursday.
