February 21, 2012

ATH Jadar Johnson (6-1 185) of Orangeburg-Wilkinson has picked up offers from Clemson, North Carolina and NC State. The Tigers offered him within the last 10 days thrilling Johnson.

"I was really happy with it," Johnson said. "I really like the coaches. It's a nice place up there and a good program."

He visited UNC last weekend and is showing interest in the Tar Heels as well. "I loved the atmosphere up there," he said. "I got to meet (Larry) Fedora and he seems like a good guy."

Johnson continues to hear from USC, Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame, Florida State and Minnesota. "USC sends me letters like every two days and I talk to them a lot but they haven't offered yet," he said adding, "I'm still very interested in them. It's close to home."

Johnson visits Georgia Tech and NC State over the next two weekends. He does not have any favorites.
