LB/TE Matt Rolin (6-4 205) of Ashburn, VA received an offer from USC Tuesday increasing his total to 18.
Some of his other offers include Florida State, Georgia, Maryland, Boston College, Michigan, NC State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Washington, Ole Miss, Colorado, Connecticut and Baylor.
"Everyone is recruiting me as a linebacker but South Carolina just offered me at tight end," Rolin said. "They are looking at me on both sides of the ball."
He has already visited USC and returns to the school March 31st. "It was a real good visit," he said. "I've got family that live about 10 minutes from the campus so that makes it really easy for me."
Though he does not have any favorites and will not narrow his list until the summer he did say, "I will definitely take one of my official visits to South Carolina."
Rolin will visit Alabama April 2nd, Georgia on the 3rd and Florida State on the 4th. As a junior he had 100 tackles, 19 for loss, ten sacks, ten pass deflections and two interceptions. He does not have a leader.
