Tommy Amaker's agent would not say Tuesday whether South Carolina has reached out to the Harvard coach.

David Falk declined comment when asked if Amaker, who also coached at Seton Hall and Michigan, was a candidate to replace Darrin Horn. USC fired Horn last week after compiling a 60-63 record in four years.

Falk added, however, that after leading the Crimson to their first NCAA tournament since 1946 it is his "expectation and anticipation" that Amaker would remain at Harvard. Vanderbilt beat Harvard in the NCAA first round 79-70.

Harvard has won at least 20 games in three consecutive seasons under Amaker, who played college ball at Duke.

Falk is best known as the long-time agent for Michael Jordan and other NBA players.

Other potential candidates at USC have included Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall, a Greenwood native; Dave Dickerson, an assistant coach at Ohio State, who is from Olar, S.C.; and Kansas State coach Frank Martin.

CBS Sports' Jeff Goodman Tweeted on Tuesday that "multiple sources said there has been no contact b/w South Carolina and Frank Martin. Martin has been recruiting last 2 days."
