Florida ATH considering USC pledge

March 30, 2012

WR/DB Jasper Sasser of Jacksonville, FL will attend USC’s junior day Saturday and he says there’s a 50-50 chance he will commit while in Columbia.

Sasser said this is his first visit of the spring and will be his only visit. “It seems like a great place,” Sasser said of USC. “I can fit in, do well in academics and work for playing time. And I love the coaching staff, especially the new coach (Everette Sands) and Coach Spurrier.”

Sasser talked to his recruiter Steve Spurrier Jr. Friday before hitting the road with two of his teammates.

Sasser also has offers from Clemson, South Florida, Ole Miss, Southern Miss and Florida International.

He said Clemson and South Florida are two others he’s strongly considering. He has visited Clemson in the past.
