6-5 high scoring shooting guard Thaddeus Hall of Brooklyn, NY will take an official visit to USC next weekend. Hall met with USC head coach Frank Martin Thursday and set up the visit which will be the first official visit he will make.
"The meeting went good," Hall said Friday afternoon. "He's a nice guy. I saw what kind of coach he is. He's an honest person. He told me everything I like to hear. Before he came, I googled him and everything I read about him, he told me."
Hall averaged 35 points per game this season and led Jefferson High to the city championship game. He feels his game would fit in nicely with what Martin is looking for. "I play hard, can shoot and play a lot of defense," Hall said. "I play the best player and lock him up. He wants players who makes play and make it happen. He can put the ball in my hands and trust me."
Hall said he will also visit Maryland. He also has offers from Virginia Tech, St. Johns, Dayton and West Virginia. He's staying open right now and not thinking about a favorite.
"Every school is recruiting me about the same," Hall said. "I'm not high on any school right now. There is no favorite."
Hall has family in Charleston so this will not be his first trip to the Palmetto State. The spring signing period begins April 11th.
