Hill watches Clemson scrimmage

Published: April 9, 2012

Pendleton DL Michael Hill attended Clemson’s scrimmage Monday and was given a close up look at the Tigers on the field according to his coach Paul Sutherland.

“He was able to spend a lot of time with Dabo (Swinney),” Sutherland said. “He spent the whole scrimmage with him. Then he went back with Dan Brooks. His words were, ‘It went real good.’ There’s a good coach and player relationship there and he’s very high on that. They do a great job on that. He really clicked with all the coaches.”

Hill also has visited USC, Georgia Tech and Tennessee.

This Saturday he has the ACT in the morning and his prom that night so he won’t attend a spring game. The following Saturday he will attend the Shrine Bowl combine at Spartanburg High School.

Sutherland said Hill will visit Alabama, Florida, Ohio State and Michigan this summer. The in state schools remain strong with him and his coach said Tennessee also is strongly in the mix. Hill does not have favorites and wants to see all the schools before he comes up with favorites.

He wants to make his decision before his season.
