6-6 Sheldon Jeter of Beaver Falls, PA left Sunday afternoon for an official visit to Vanderbilt. He’ll return home Tuesday.

Wednesday he will meet with Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan then shortly after that he will make his decision according to his father.

Jeter is considering USC, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin and Penn State. Kansas State and Pittsburgh are no longer under consideration.

Jeter’s father said USC has remained in regular contact. “Sheldon likes Coach Martin,” he said. “It’s a tough decision for him but he’s got to make it.”

Right now there is no front runner.
