Updates on USC basketball recruiting

... 6-foot-8 Minda Kacinas of Lithuania is at USC today for the start of his official visit. Kacinas is a player Frank Martin recruited while he was at Kansas State. It’s possible he will commit while on his visit.

... 6-foot-6 Sheldon Jeter of Beaver Creek, PA returned home today from an official visit to Vanderbilt. He then met at his home with Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan and tonight he’ll meet with Vandy coach Kevin Stallings. Penn State also has called him and wants him to come in for an official visit. He’s not sure if he’ll do that since he’s been there three times. He might just take another day visit there with his parents. After the Penn State visit he will be ready for to make his decision. USC remains high on his list.

... 6-foot-3 Willie Moore of Cincinnati has narrowed his list to USC and Virginia Tech. He will visit Blacksburg next week. Moore signed with Duquesne in November but got a partial release after the coaching change. He is blocked from signing with another Atlantic 10 team without sitting out a season.

... USC November signee Tyrone Haughton (6-9( of Miami said Wednesday he’s not yet been contacted by new Gamecock coach Frank Martin or any member of his staff. Haughton said he remains in his mind committed to the Gamecocks and plans to be at USC in August.
