Jeter to take one more visit

April 22, 2012

6-6 Sheldon Jeter of Beaver Falls, PA will visit Penn State Thursday for the day and then he'll be ready to make his decision his father said Sunday night. And the decision appears to be primarily down to USC, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin.

"I'm not sure why he's visiting Penn State," Jeter's father said. "I think it's South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin. All three have great coaches and he had a great visit at all three. In fact, he was going to sign with South Carolina when Horn was there. He really liked it."

Jeter also visited Kansas State when new USC coach Frank Martin was the coach there and thus knows Martin and the USC staff well.

Jeter Saturday night was named the MVP of the Dapper Dan Classic after scoring 18 points. He also finished 2nd in the three point shooting contest
