Some opposing fans call him “Darth Visor.” He also used to be called the “Ol’ Ball Coach,” but he now prefers “Head Ball Coach.”

He wears a new white baseball cap each game with LSU in purple letters on the front.

Got the name “The Hat” during the 2007 season because of his risky play calling en route to a national championship.
