Ole Miss nips USC

Mississippi (12-5-0, 5-5-0 SEC) edged South Carolina (5-7-4, 2-5-3) on Sunday, 2-1, snapping USC’s two-game winning streak. South Carolina sophomore Taylor Leach scored her first collegiate goal in the 28th minute.

Gamecocks 12th at Tar Heel Invite

At Chapel Hill, South Carolina posted a final-round 311 (23-over) to wrap up the Tar Heel Invitational in a tie for 12th. Host North Carolina won, and Florida’s Isabelle Lendl was medalist at 6-under 210.
