Florida RB has early feelings for USC

November 5, 2012

Junior RB Kobe McCrary (5-11 212) of Chipley, FL is hearing from USC, Clemson, Florida State, Florida, Florida International, Pitt, Louisville, Kentucky, Mississippi State and East Carolina among others. He named USC, FSU and Louisville his top three.

"Those schools and Mississippi State are the ones showing me the most interest," McCrary added.

The junior running back visited USC the weekend of the Georgia game. "Oh man it was crazy," said McCrary. "I talked to a lot of the fans and they told me how long they have been coming to games. They're very loyal and I like that." He also spoke with some of the Gamecock commitments. "I talked to Devin Washington a lot and he was really cool," he said.

McCrary has been to several games at Florida State and plans to attend a game at Mississippi State. "If Clemson wants me to come there, I'll visit them too," he said.

McCrary's season is over and he estimated he gained over 1600 yards on the ground and 23 touchdowns. He did not name a favorite.
