USC remains strong player for RB Williams

November 6, 2012

USC recruiter GA Mangus hit the Northeast last week to check in on some of his targets including RB David Williams of Philadelphia. "He came by the school Friday," Williams said. "We couldn't talk but I called him that night."

Williams has taken an official visit to Arizona State and is scheduled to visit Tennessee November 24th. USC, Nebraska and Ohio State are the others in his top five and he plans to take officials to each after his season with his mom, step dad and younger brother.

He does not have a favorite but said he talks regularly to Mangus and Gamecock running backs coach Everette Sands. He considers Mangus one of his favorite recruiters. Williams plans to wait until his all star game before announcing a decision.

This season his team is 10-0 and just won the public league title. He has rushed for 1063 yards and 14 touchdowns.
