Neil White’s weekly rankings of the SEC and ACC are a thoroughly unscientific compilation. No computer programs were used and no votes were taken to assemble this list of best to worst in the SEC and ACC.

1. ALABAMA (9-0)

It’s yet another big week with the Aggies in town.

2. GEORGIA (8-1)

With Auburn win, Dawgs will head to SEC title game.

3. FLORIDA (8-1)

La-La Land is about to get bogged down in Swamp.

4. FLORIDA STATE (8-1)

Seminoles used to consider Hokies a tough opponent.

5. CLEMSON (8-1)

Time is right to pile up points against soft ACC teams.

6. LSU (7-2)

Close doesn’t count as Tigers let big win slip away.

7. SOUTH CAROLINA (7-2)

Back in the saddle, Gamecocks look to finish strong.

8. TEXAS A&M (7-2)

A tough schedule has toughest opponent up next.

9. MISSISSIPPI STATE (7-2)

Bulldogs seem to have been exposed as pretenders.

This 5-4 team might win Coastal Division.

13. TENNESSEE (4-5)

Volunteers are still eyeing first SEC win.

Winning season remains long shot for Razorbacks.

15. VANDERBILT (5-4)

Commodores aim for second straight bowl trip.

16. N.C. STATE (5-4)
