Virginia receiver hearing from USC

November 8, 2012

Junior WR Jamil Kamara (6-2 195) of Virginia Beach has offers that include Clemson, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Miami, Boston College, Marshall, Vanderbilt, North Carolina and Toledo with interest from USC, Duke, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Georgia, LSU and Alabama.

Kamara attended a camp at Clemson over the summer where he received his offer from the Tigers. "I got a chance to meet all of the coaches and they do a really good job," said Kamara. "I got to meet Sammy Watkins and he told me a lot of good things (about Clemson). They're one of my top schools."

Though he does not have any favorites he said, "I do have some schools I like a lot." He named Clemson, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Notre Dame.

Other schools he has visited are Georgia Tech, UNC, Virginia Tech, UVA, Rutgers and Penn State. "I want to make a couple of more visits before football ends," he said. "I 'll go to schools within driving distance like North Carolina."

As a junior, he has 42 receptions for 820 yards and 12 touchdowns.
