Woffords backfield against South Carolinas linebackers. The Terriers run the triple option and are second in the Football Championship subdivision at 357 yards per game rushing. South Carolina is allowing an average of 102 yards on the ground per game. The Gamecocks linebackers will need to stay disciplined and follow their assignments to prevent big runs.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Wofford: FB Eric Breitenstein became the Terriers all-time leading rusher last week with 5,223 yards and is 112 yards from breaking the single-season rushing mark he set in 2010. Breitensteins 1,528 yards rushing in 2012 accounts for about 42 percent of Woffords yards on the ground.
South Carolina: WR Bruce Ellington has posted back-to-back 100-yard receiving games and leads the team with 470 yards. Ellingtons ability to get open can take the pressure off a running game suffering after the season-ending knee injury to Marcus Lattimore.
