Elliott stops in on Stanley

Published: November 28, 2012

USC offensive line coach Shawn Elliott visited junior OL Donnell Stanley of Latta on Tuesday.

The Gamecocks are among his favorites. He named Clemson, USC, LSU, Alabama, Ohio State and North Carolina as his top six, in no order.

The visit with Ellliott was pretty quiet.

"He just came by to catch up with me and see how I was doing," said Stanley. "We didn't talk about much. Things are going really well with (USC). I talk to them all of the time."

Stanley visited Alabama this past weekend for their contest with Auburn.

"It went really good but we left at half time because it was a blow out," he said. "We wanted to beat the traffic. I didn't really talk to anyone and I've already seen the campus so we just came home."

Stanley is expecting several more coaches to come by his school over the upcoming weeks.

"I know a bunch are coming to see me but I can't really tell you who they are," he admitted.

Stanley does not have a leader.
