JUCO LB to visit USC this weekend

December 14, 2012

After losing committed LB Matt Rolin to Florida, USC set out to find a junior college linebacker who was available and would fit their system. They possibly have found that guy in Tommy Sanders of Butler JC, KS.

According to a source, Sanders will make an official visit to USC this weekend. Sanders (6-1 210) was close to making a decision last week after visiting Ohio State but held off. He has visited Mississippi State, Ohio State and Texas A&M.

USC linebackers coach Kirk Botkin visited Sanders earlier this week. He also met this week with his Ohio State recruiter and Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn.

Sanders is a Georgia native and a mid year transfer. He earned honorable mention JC All American honors this season.
