Spartanburg native DB Ronnie Martin of Georgia Military JC signed with USC Wednesday, the first day mid-year junior college transfers could sign.

Martin signed with the Gamecocks in 2011 but did not qualify. He was a Shrine Bowl performer in his senior season with the Vikings.

He missed most of this season with a hamstring injury. He will have three years of eligibility with the Gamecocks.
