Rodney feels USC close to offering

January 1, 2013

DL Zeek Rodney of South Pointe has not been offered yet but feels USC or North Carolina will be the first. He's hearing from those two along with Clemson and LSU. He went to games this season at USC, Clemson and North Carolina.

"USC has a good program and good defensive players," Rodney said. "I think coach Spurrier is a good coach and coach Lawing is a good defensive line coach. I have talked to coaches from Clemson but their program is going in the right direction and they send a lot of defensive linemen to the NFL."

Rodney said he will visit LSU for a junior day February 9th. He does not have a favorite.

This season Rodney had 133 tackles with 27 sacks and 26 tackles for loss.
