Florida defensive lineman to visit USC

January 3, 2013

USC is working its way into a strong position with DL Deadrin Senat of Immokalee, FL. Senat said he talked to his Gamecock recruiter GA Mangus last week and plans to call him Friday.

"We just talked a little bit about the recruiting process," Senat said. "I really want to go there, but I've got to visit there first."

Senat plans to take several visits, official and unofficial, this month, and will start setting up those visits next week. The former Florida State commitment also has offers from Tennessee, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Nebraska, LSU, Ole Miss, Miami, Louisville, Georgia, Auburn and Arkansas.

"My options are open," Senat said.

He played in the Offense-Defense Game Monday in Houston ("I had 5-6 tackles") and will play in the USA vs Canada Game Saturday night in San Antonio following the Army All American Game.
