Florida RB hearing from Gamecocks

January 9, 2013

Junior RB Wadzaire Blanc (5-8 170) of Lake Nona, FL has offers from Florida Atlantic and Florida International with interest from Clemson, USC, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt. A shoulder injury kept him out of his junior campaign which has programs taking the wait-and-see approach.

"South Carolina has contacted me more," Blanc said. "I haven't heard much from Clemson this year because of my injury."

He named Clemson and USC his favorites with Clemson as his leader. "I really like Clemson because I've always looked up to CJ Spiller." As for USC he said, "They're telling me they like how I run and they want to see if I can come in and be a team player."

Blanc is focusing on strengthening his shoulder as does not have plans to visit any schools. "I think teams want to see how I do in my senior season," said Blanc.
