USC closing book on Alfy Hill case

January 11, 2013

What little chance there was for DE Alfy Hill to make it to USC has been exhausted a source said Friday night.

Hill was a USC commitment from North Carolina who was attending a junior college in Los Angeles. But his semester grades came up short of qualifying for a Division One scholarship.

He's enrolled at a community college near his home in Shallotte, NC with plans on attending UNC Pembroke, a Division Two school.

USC continued to work on the situation to see if there was an avenue for Hill to get to Columbia but that came up empty.
