Junior linebacker Joe Blue of Dillon plans to make an unofficial visit to USC Saturday for the basketball game along with teammates LB Devandre Ford and DL Jalen Washington.

Blue has been a strong lean to USC and the possibility of a commitment exists Saturday, according to his coach Jackie Hayes.

“I think he’s pretty close,” Hayes said Friday afternoon. “He likes the Gamecocks a lot. He likes LSU and Florida a lot, too. We talked last week. He said he was going to think about it a little bit more. As soon as he’s made up his mind, he’ll pull the trigger. He’s just got to figure some things out. I think he’ll definitely commit before spring practice.”

Blue holds offers from USC, Georgia Tech, Florida, Auburn, Southern Cal, NC State, Maryland, Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia.
