Monday night LB Quinton Powell of Daytona Beach, FL confirmed plans to visit USC this weekend and said he was also still considering Southern Cal and Oregon.

But Tuesday brought a new plan for Powell, and it did not include the Gamecocks.

Powell revealed on Facebook that he was canceling visits to USC, Oregon and Miami and will choose between Southern Cal, where he visited last weekend, and Florida, where he once was committed.

“Well I’ve decided to cancel the rest of my official visits to South Carolina, Oregon, and Miami," Powell wrote. “My top two are Southern California and Florida."

Powell won't reveal his choice until National Signing Day.
