USC head coach Steve Spurrier and linebackers coach Kirk Botkin met Monday with linebacker target Jonathan Walton of Mobile, AL.

"It was pretty good," Walton said of the meeting. "I talked to him up there (on his official visit) and I had a good time with him down here too, him and coach Botkin."

Walton, who visited Auburn over the weekend, said he's still 50-50 between the two schools and plans to have a decision later this week.
