Allen-Williams remains big on USC after visit

February 2, 2013

Long time USC lean DE Bryson Allen-Williams attended the USC junior day Saturday and the Gamecocks remain his very strong favorite. "I had a great visit," Allen-Williams said. "I spent a lot of time talking with coach Ward. And I had a good sit down conversation with coach Spurrier. He was telling me about the things they have done and are going to do and how he wants me to be a part of it."

As strong as Williams is on USC, he's not ready to make a commitment because he wants to make other visits and doesn't ever want to be in a position to make a decommitment. He will visit UCLA next weekend and Georgia the weekend after that.

Some of his other offers are Clemson, Florida, Southern Cal, Washington, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Tennessee, ,Vanderbilt, North Carolina, NC State, Duke and Missouri. He has had Clemson, Southern Cal, Florida, UCLA, Washington and Georgia Tech in his top group behind USC.

Allen-Williams has set August 9th for his announcement date.
