Last year’s team and the 2001-02 squad each recorded 10 wins to be tied for most in school history. ... The Gamecocks defeated the Bulldogs 60-46 on Jan. 6 behind 16 points from Aleighsa Welch and 11 by Sancheon White. It was the third straight win in the series by the Gamecocks. ... Ashley Bruner has three double-doubles in her past four games. ... Elem Ibiam is probable following surgery for her broken nose she suffered in practice on Feb. 6. She underwent surgery on Feb. 15.
