WHAT TO WATCH FOR: South Carolina has a chance to surpass its most wins in SEC play. Last year’s team and the 2001-02 squad each recorded 10 wins in league play, which is tied for most in school history. The Gamecocks also are looking for a 23rd regular-season victory, which would tie the 1979-80 team for most in school history. ... USC is locked into 5th place, which means the Gamecocks get a first-day bye in the SEC tournament. They will play the winner of the opening-day between the No. 12 and 13 seeds. ...This is the final home game for seniors Ieasia Walker, Ashley Bruner and Sancheon White. They own two of the four 20 win seasons since joining the SEC. ... Khadijah Sessions is averaging 12 points per game since joining the starting lineup three games ago. .Ieasia Walker leads the SEC with 3.1 steals per game in conference games. ... The Gamecocks lost a close one on the road Thursday. They allowed more than 60 points for the third time this season in a 65-58 setback to Missouri.
