LB Bryson Allen-Williams of Ellenwood, GA tweeted his 'new top ten' last week of USC, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Michigan, Auburn, Arkansas, Wisconsin and NC State in that order.
"I picked my top ten by the schools that were showing me the most interest," he said. "I've built a good relationship with the coaches so that's why I chose them."
Since then, things have gotten more complicated.
"As soon as I put that out there, some schools that weren't in my top ten started hitting me up," said Allen-Williams. "Clemson is one of those schools and they're moving up (my list). I talked to the coaches and they want me to come up one Saturday so they can tell me their plans for how they're going to use me."
The Gamecocks, however, still lead for his services.
"It's going to be hard to knock them off because they were one of the first to offer me and they've been on me from the beginning," he said. "I've got a real good relationship with coach (Lorenzo) Ward."
He plans to visit Alabama this weekend and USC March 23rd. Allen-Williams still plans to make his announcement in August.
