USC with offer out to NC athlete

March 13, 2013

ATH Jonathan Lloyd of Graham, NC has offers from USC, Clemson, North Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, Florida, Notre Dame, NC State, West Virginia, Indiana and East Carolina with interest from Georgia, Ole Miss and Oklahoma State among others.

Clemson assistant Robbie Caldwell recently visited Lloyd at his school. "He came by to see me just to talk a little," he said. "We didn't talk too much football because it's still in the relationship-building stage." Lloyd has not heard from USC in about a month. "They still send me letters and stuff but I haven't really talked to anyone," said Lloyd.

In the last two weeks, he has visited NC State and North Carolina. "The NC State visit was good," he said. "I got to meet the new coaching staff. UNC, with coach (Larry) Fedora, was about the same. They were both good visits." Lloyd could visit Clemson and USC this spring but says nothing is finalized.

He does not have any favorites and would like to get his list narrowed to eight or less this spring.
