Haley has good feeling for USC

March 25, 2013

DB Grant Haley (5-10 180) of Atlanta has offers from USC, Florida, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech with interest from Georgia and Missouri. Every offer he has is as a defensive back, except for the Gamecocks.

"They're telling me they want me more as an athlete and said they would like to see me on offense," said Haley. He visited USC last month for a junior day. "I liked it a lot," he said. "I like the facilities and I really like the coaching staff. I've talked to coach (Lorenzo) Ward a couple of times and I'm working on a better relationship with (USC)."

Vanderbilt was his latest visit and the Commodores surprised him. "I liked it a lot more than I thought I would," said Haley. "I like what they have going on up there." He has also visited Florida and plans to visit Tennessee soon.

As a junior he totaled 40 tackles and seven interceptions with seven offensive touchdowns. Haley does not have any favorites.
