USC still holding strong with Miclisse

April 4, 2013

LB Greg Miclisse of Palm Bay, FL has offers from USC, LSU, Louisville, SMU, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Nebraska, UCLA, Auburn, Washington, Wake Forest, South Florida, Arizona, Connecticut, Missouri and Texas among others. Miclisse plans to narrow his list to ten in the next two weeks and says the Gamecocks are very much in the picture.

"I like South Carolina a lot," he said. "I visited my sophomore year and they've got it going on. I loved the campus and it's a great football program. The coaches made me feel at home and Steve Spurrier is one of the best ever to do it." He also named LSU, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Georgia and Louisville as schools that stand out to him.

Miclisse visited Miami this spring and goes to Florida Atlantic this weekend. He will visit Tennessee soon and plans to return to USC this summer. Miclisse plans to take all five of his official visits and could commit during an all-star game in January.

He had 11 sacks, 18 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery as a junior. Miclisse does not have a favorite.
