Williams updates his five

April 24, 2013

RB Stanley Williams of Monroe, GA named Clemson, USC, Georgia, Kentucky and Arizona his current top five in no order. Williams says he is taking his recruitment slowly after decommitting from Georgia so that he can evaluate each school that is showing interest in him.

His recent visit to Clemson is the reason the Tigers are among his top five. "It was my best visit yet," said Williams. "I really like the family atmosphere there. The coaches are really cool. I'll definitely visit again this summer and then go to some games next season." Williams took the visit to Clemson with QB DeShaun Watson who is already committed to the Tigers.

With spring practice approaching, several schools are expected to stop by and see him. "Arizona and Georgia Tech have been by already," he said. "Alabama, West Virginia, Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Kentucky are coming." Future visits for Williams include Alabama, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Georgia and Kentucky this summer.

Each of his top five is likely to receive official visits from Williams. He does not have a leader and plans to commit following his senior season.
