USC to see Aniebonam next week

May 8, 2013

DE Jesse Aniebonam of Olney, MD plans to visit several schools over the summer including USC and Clemson. The Tigers were by his school last week to see Aniebonam and USC will be there next week.

"'I've been talking to coach (Brent) Venables a lot and he is asking me when I can come down there for a visit," said Aniebonam. "Hopefully, I can do that in June. I have talked to coach (G.A.) Mangus back-and-forth on Facebook and it's kind of the same thing."

The visits Aniebonam has scheduled for the summer are Clemson, USC, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Alabama. Though he does not claim any favorites, he acknowledged that these visits are to schools of strong interest.

"I can't really evaluate them until I've seen them so, hopefully, I'll have a better idea after my visits," he said. "I'd like to commit prior to my season but there is not a set date."

Aniebonam did not rule out the possibility of other visits.
