Auguste's cousin wants to hear from USC

June 11, 2013

DB Deion Hallmon of Weston, FL is nearing 50 offers. Clemson is on the list and he'd like to get one from USC. He's the cousin of former Gamecock cornerback Akeem Auguste.

Hallmon has not narrowed his list but could get down to a top ten this week. Florida State and West Virginia will make the short list. Other schools standing out with him right now are Arkansas, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Mississippi State.

Hallmon said he's been talking with Clemson and has gotten mail from USC. He planned to contact Gamecock secondary coach Grady Brown to check on his interest.

Hallmon said he will got to Miami's camp and expects an offer there. He's hoping to commit early and had set June 30th as a date, but he's not sure he can meet that deadline.

Last season Hallmon had 7 interceptions and returned two blocked field goals for touchdowns.
