The digital representation of Jadeveon Clowney is the top rated player in college football with a perfect score of 99 out of 99, says EA Sports, the video game developer.

Rules prevent an active player's name from being used, so the game developers say the No. 7 defensive end for the South Carolina Gamecocks is the best player in football.

Of course, No. 7 is Clowney, a consensus All-American as a sophomore.

Fans can use the Gamecocks’ No. 7 to sack Georgia QB No. 11, Florida QB No. 6 or Alabama QB No. 10.

Clemson’s Sammy Watkins and Tajh Boyd also made EA Sports' top 15 players. Those two players are the Tigers’ No. 2 WR and No. 10 QB.

Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron (No. 10) and linebacker C.J. Mosley are tied for the second highest ranked players with a score of 97.

Other players with high scores in the game include Texas A&M quarterback No. 2 (Johnny Manziel) and left tackle No. 75 (Jake Matthews), Georgia quarterback No. 11 (Aaron Murray) and Oregon tailback No. 6 (De'Anthony Thomas).
