Video: Marcus Lattimore sprints up stands at Williams-Brice

dprice@thestate.comJuly 1, 2013

Marcus Lattimore may have been climbing a long stairway to recovery since his season-ending leg injury at last year’s Tennessee game, but he’s already able to sprint up the stands at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The former Gamecocks’ star is seen shooting up the bleachers in the stadium’s north end zone and running drills on the field in Youtube videos posted today by his stepfather, Vernon Smith Jr. Lattimore, a rookie with the San Francisco 49ers, has been in Columbia the last three days shooting a commercial for Under Armour, according to Smith’s Twitter feed.

In some of Smith’s other tweets, Lattimore is seen doing an on-camera interview at USC’s horseshoe and posing for a photo with another legendary USC RB--George Rogers.
