Junior RB to attend this month's camp

July 10, 2013

Class of 2015 RB Trayvon Thomas (5-9 198) of Darlington will attend a camp at USC later this month. He is showing a lot of interest in the Gamecocks.

"They run a similar offense as we do at Darlington," said Thomas. "They always have a powerhouse running game."

Thomas attended a camp at NC State earlier this summer and enjoyed his visit. "I got a chance to talk to their running back coach and their head coach," he said. "They have really nice facilities and I like what they're doing with the program."

Thomas has not heard much from any schools but believes that will change. "I got hurt as a sophomore so I only played in three games," he said.

He wants to attend a camp at Georgia next summer and is high on the Bulldogs. He did not express much interest in Clemson. "I really didn't grow up a fan of theirs," said Thomas.
