Gamecocks predicted to finish second in SEC East

The South Carolina football team was picked by league media to finish second in the SEC East this season behind Georgia.

Alabama was chosen as the overall SEC winner.

The Gamecocks received 18 votes for overall SEC champ and 75 votes to win the SEC East (Georgia received 149 votes to win the East).
