Soundoff: Josh Kendall's preseason Top 25

South Carolina is No. 6 in the Associated Press Top 25.

TIM DOMINICK — tdominick@thestate.com

I’m guessing not many of you have a problem with my preseason Associated Press poll (at least for now) as I voted South Carolina No. 5, one spot ahead of where the Gamecocks ended up Saturday when the poll was released.

Hopefully, we can all remain on the same page as the season progresses, but I will give the same warning that I gave in this same space last year – I will move teams around A LOT, especially in the first six weeks. There are still plenty of questions that South Carolina and everyone else in the country have to answer, and how well the Gamecocks answer them early will determine how much I move them.

As always, please let me know what you think here or on Twitter (@JoshatTheState). Also, in case you haven’t seen it, there’s a website that keeps track of every AP poll voter in the country and let’s you vote on who is doing the best job and who is doing the worst job – PollSpeak.com. (Remember, I told you about the site so be kind.)
