Orangeburg-Wilkinson's Albert Huggins is a top instate target for the class of 2015

Junior DL Albert Huggins of Orangeburg-Wilkinson was unable to make it to any games in the opening weekend of college football and is unsure of when that first trip will be.

A family issue has made this less of a priority for Huggins.

"My dad just had surgery so I don't know when I'll be taking a visit," he said.

He does, however, continue to hear from several schools including Clemson and USC.

"They both just keep sending me information and are letting me know what's going on," Huggins said.

Ole Miss, Wyoming, Tennessee, LSU, North Carolina, Southern Cal and Ohio State are among the other schools that continue to show interest.

His latest offer is from Auburn, which game just before the season began. USC, Clemson, SC State, Florida State, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, NC State and UNC are his other offers.

"Right now, I'm just focusing on getting to 3-0 for the season," he said. "I want to go to games at Alabama and Florida this year, if I can."

Huggins may try to make it to Columbia for the regular season finale between the Tigers and Gamecocks as well. He says he does not have any favorites.
