Brunson was in for Kentucky game

October 18, 2013

Duke is the early leader for QB Will Brunson of Carolina Forest. He is hearing from USC, Clemson, Duke, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, East Carolina and North Carolina.

, however, appears to be courting Brunson the hardest. "I guess I would have to say Duke (is my leader) since they've shown the most interest," he said. "I think David Cutcliffe does a great job with quarterbacks and it's a great atmosphere. I love the campus."

Brunson has visited several schools including USC and Clemson and was in Columbia for the Kentucky game. "It was awesome," Brunson said. "Great atmosphere...we spent the day up there. I went with my coach and teammate, Xavier Jones."

He plans to attend the Tennessee-Vanderbilt game as well as UNC-Duke before the season ends.

Through seven games Brunson has thrown for 2,061 yards and 21 touchdowns this season. Though Duke is his early leader, he says "It's still up for grabs."
