Allen-Williams gets official nod for U.S. Army game

South Carolina linebacker commitment Bryson Allen-Williams was officially selected Tuesday to play in the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Those selected will play in the game on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The annual East vs. West match-up will be televised live on NBC at 1 p.m. and feature 90 of the nation’s top high school football players.

Allen-Williams, from Cedar Grove High in Ellenwood, Ga., was selected by the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Committee, which consists of All American Games and 247Sports.

He joins Gaffney quarterback Shaq Davidson and Latta offensive lineman Donell Stanley as USC commitments in the U.S. Army game.

USC tight end pledge K.C. Crosby of Bamberg-Erhardt High will play in the Under Armour All-America Game.
