Gamecocks shift interest from Kamara to Samuel

November 25, 2013

Tyshun Samuel

WR Jamil Kamara of Norfolk, VA had scheduled an official visit to USC for the Clemson weekend but Sunday he reduced his list to a final three of Wisconsin, Pittsburgh and Virginia. USC just recently offered and had not cracked his top four going into the weekend.

Kamara has visited Wisconsin and will visit Pittsburgh and Virginia over the next two weekends.

While the Gamecocks are off Kamara, they are more strongly on Chapman WR Tyshun Samuel. He made an unofficial visit Saturday and was offered. His other offers include Vanderbilt, North Carolina, NC State, Maryland and East Carolina.

Samuel has been one of the most productive receivers in the state over the past two seasons in terms of touchdowns scored.
