USC going after Florida defensive end

December 4, 2013

USC apparently is still not finished flushing out prospects to offer for the 2014 class. Wednesday recruiter Grady Brown visited DE Kevin Bronson (6-4 233) of Delray Beach, FL and offered him.

Bronson said Brown told him one reason they like him is because he is bigger than some other defensive ends they have been recruiting. Bronson had 58 tackles with 20 tackles for loss and 6 sacks this season and said he was used at all the positions along the line.

Bronson has set an official visit with the Gamecocks for January 17th. He is going to Rutgers this weekend and is set to visit Virginia Tech January 24th. He's also looking at Arkansas for a visit and is also considering Nebraska, Central Florida and South Florida. There is no favorite at this point.

Bronson said Brown and Gamecock defensive line coach Deke Adams saw him in the spring and liked his film and that's when the recruiting relationship started to build.
