Bronson remains interested in Gamecocks

January 2, 2014

DE Kevin Bronson of Delray Beach, FL received an offer in early December from USC and will take an official visit to Columbia January 17th. Though they may have gotten into the game late with Bronson, the Gamecocks remain very much in the mix for his services.

"It's just crazy up there in Columbia on game day," he said. "I really like the coaches and it's a good program."

Not to be outdone, Florida also offered Bronson in early December. He will take his final official visit to Florida on January 31st.

"They had talked to be before the season and told me they wanted to get me on campus to see a game," Bronson said. "I didn't hear much from them for a while but when the season ended, they started coming on strong."

Rutgers is the only school to receive an official visit from Bronson. He will also visit Virginia Tech January 24th. He does not have any favorites.

"I'll know which school is the right one for me when I get on campus and it just feels right," he said.

His official visit to USC will be his first trip to Columbia. Distance from home will not be a factor in his decision, according to Bronson.
